Alex Langlands, archaeologist and historian, is currently filming the Edwardian Farm (12 x 1hr) series as a follow up to the successful Victorian Farm and Victorian Farm Christmas programs.

The Victorian Farm (BBC Two) follow Alex and team for a full calender year exploring rural life in the Victorian Era. The series was followed by three one-hour Christmas specials transmitted in December 2009.

Alex is a PhD candidate at the University of Winchester where he studies the landscape of early medieval Britain and is proud to announce that, due to his desire to safeguard traditional craft skills, he has become a patron of the newly formed Heritage Crafts Association.
